Hi, I'm Louise — a qualified accountant who left corporate finance to build a working life on my own terms.

When I went self-employed, I discovered something surprising: even with years of accounting experience, navigating self-employment finances for the first time was confusing. The platforms, the records, the tax return, the NI credits — there was so much that nobody explained clearly.

If it confused me, I knew it was overwhelming everyone else.
