Returns & Refunds policy

All products sold by Rootstock Planning are digital downloads (spreadsheets, PDFs, and guides). As digital products are delivered instantly and cannot be "returned," our refund policy differs from a traditional returns policy.

Your rights under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations

When you purchase a digital download, you agree to the product being delivered immediately. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, this means you waive your 14-day cooling-off period once the download has been accessed. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and consent to this.

When we will offer a refund

We will gladly issue a full refund if the product is faulty, corrupted, or cannot be opened after reasonable troubleshooting, if the product is significantly not as described on the product listing, or if the product was purchased in error and you contact us before downloading it.

How to request a refund

Please email us at hello@rootstockplanning.co.uk within 14 days of purchase, including your order number and a brief description of the issue. We aim to respond within 2 working days and process approved refunds within 5 working days using your original payment method.

Free products

Our free downloads (such as the Self-Assessment Preparation Checklist) are provided at no cost and are not subject to this policy.
